Hello, I’m Ben – a freelance graphic designer living in sunny Newcastle, Australia. I’m passionate about helping businesses find their identity and build clear communication strategies.

I love interacting directly with business owners to really investigate their needs and bring insightful solutions to their problems. I like to bring an outsider’s perspective to the table.
With over a decade of experience in the design industry, I offer a range of design services, from logo design to printed stationery, and creating professional websites. I have worked with a diverse range of clients: from small startups to marketing teams of large multinational firms, and I love the variety! See some of my latest work >
My background…
I’ve always loved drawing and playing with technology, however my career as a graphic designer began at The University of Newcastle, where I studied a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design. I enjoyed it so much I stayed on for an additional honours year, where I was able to play around with printmaking, typography and laser-cutters.
I then pursued digital design through the industry program offered at Tractor Design School (2014), where I learned about UX, UI & responsive web design. I began to see design problems as business problems, and the experience at Tractor boosted my presentation and speaking skills significantly. Read more about my experience on Linkedin >
Over my career I am proud to have had the opportunity to work at four creative agencies, while simultaneously cultivating and maintaining some truly great freelance client relationships.
